Walden Pond
We finally made it out to Walden Pond after two years of talking about going. The kids weren't too happy about it to begin with, but they changed their mind when they started watching for signs on the path to Thoreau's cabin that depicted a bear saying things from Thoreau's book. We stopped for a picnic and to splash in the water, then finished walking around the whole pond!

Grammy is pretty jealous! I would love to go to Walden Pond....and I think that Thoreau would heartily approve of a new generation appreciating such a beautiful place.....
