Arlington Symphony

It was family day at the Arlington Symphony! The kids got to try out the instruments at the end of the performance. I think they both enjoyed it ... although, there was no immediate demand for violin lessons. We did get out my old trumpet to play with!

Indoor Skating

Wee m got to try out her new pinkalicious skates! Both kids did a great job and are eager to go back!

Dinner

This is what happens when daddy is not around to make dinner ... Mario and Luigi show up to make Nutella Banana crepes!!

The REAL Sparky!

Mummy met the real sparky yesterday and she told him that she had two kids at home who loved him! Today a representative of Sparky brought a Sparky swag bag for them!

Wee M Report Card

Wee M got her report card today, and boy was it a good one! We happen to get one of the other kid's reports in error and Wee M was pretty stellar compared to the other!!

Mini Update

We are noticing some changes with the kids that are fun to watch! Chippy now refers to everything as 'boring' or 'dumb' or 'not very fun'. Not sure where that came from, but it is driving us crazy!!

The two of them still get along like crazy! Tonight Chippy was on drums and Wee M did an interpretive dance, with Chippy directing her. Then they played with blocks and wooden dress up people until dinner was ready.

Wee M is now officially in love with her Playmobil house. She talks as the people and sets up all the furniture in the house. She doesn't play so much with the little accessories yet, but I'm sure that will come. She has little scenarios that she plays out and sometimes Chippy will hear her and come join in the fun! Her creativity and imagination is exploding right now! She is as silly as ever at home, but funny enough, her teacher Katie told me today that she is the most serious one of the bunch at school!! Somehow, I just don't believe it!! She is living a double life!
