The problem with books is that the poor Chippy boy is addicted! At the tender age of 3.5 ... Chippy is now reading under the covers after he is supposed to be in bed! Tonight we tried giving him 15 minutes to read on his own after we read to him, but it took until 9:45 before he FINALLY stopped reading and fell asleep. Mostly because mummy stayed in the room with him until he was asleep!
Ok.....here is the confession. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case. All the sibs will confirm how much trouble I used to get into for taking a wee little flashlight to bed with me and reading until all hours. But I didn't start until I was a bit older than 3 1/2. And for heaven's sake, don't ask me how late I stayed up last night reading....... it happens to be a lifelong addiction!
