On the 4th, there was a parade featuring every fire truck, army vehicle, police car and politician for miles around. The fire trucks were full siren and lights. There were three sets of guys dressed up in old military garb shooting blanks every block or so. That was a bit scary and loud, so by then both kids were crying and ready to go home!!
What awesome face painting....Chippy's fireworks look terrific. Sounds like the Port Lambton Gala Days parade is a bit tamer than the parade there...no gun blanks going off here.....just bullet casings full of candy!! hee hee.....Vive la difference!
