I Can Dress Myself

Wee M is in the stage now where she really wants to dress herself, just like her big brother! She can get out what she wants to wear and attempts to put it on with alternating ... Help help... No no... when you try to help. Sometimes she is successful ... Sometimes not so much!!

Wee M has discovered how fun Band Aids are!  Uncle Jesse better send some new 3M band aids because we're going through the old ones pretty quickly!!  One little ouchie (pretend or real) and it's ...

Boston Children's Museum

Grammy and Daddy took Wee M & I to the Children's Museum.  The kids had a blast with the many, many activities they could take part in.  Both kids were fast asleep by the time they got home!

The Crafts That Grammy Brought

Grammy kept the little people busy during her recent visit! Just check out the craft display of leaves, pumpkins, apples and even a Rudolph!

Dad Time

Chippy had some Dad time on Friday night and went to the Bentley hockey game. They left after the first period, but he loved it. His favourite players were the goalies and refs!

The Kleenex Tower

Our first soap.com order came Friday and while the huge box has provided three days of entertainment, the Kleenex went straight into a tower 'bigger than Uncle Tino'!!  

(Yes, Uncle Tino is still referenced at least once a day in our household!)

Scholar's Chair

We have our reading/learning chairs ... but then we also have the scholar's chair.  Chippy was sitting in the scholar's chair yesterday and traced all his numbers AND all his letters!!  Great job Chippy!

Wee M is content to sit in her reading chair (or the floor) with one of her favourite books!

Train Days

We have been spending a lot of time in the basement building train tracks.  Chippy has become a great track builder.  It normally includes the fire station and all the fire trains and fire trucks from any toy set he has!

Wee M is also getting really good with her imaginative play.  You can definitely see her big brothers influence, though!  Normally it involves driving around a fire truck and asking if there is a fire to be put out!  She'll play with the Sesame Street hospital and playground while talking to the little figures, and she loves playing with the figurines from the WOW sets.

Luminary Night

For luminary night in town this past Sunday, we put out our candles along the front walkway.  

Chippy was an amazing helper - he filled up ALL the containers with water all by himself!!

A Day To Remember

Wow, what a day!  While on our way to the aquarium, Chippy said he would rather see Big Papi at the Red Sox parade than go to the aquarium.  Perched upon Daddy's shoulders he got his wish!  Then he got his trip to the aquarium, a carousel ride AND an ice cream cone!  Wee M missed out on the aquarium, but her and Mummy had a nice nap on a bench in the ridiculously warm sun while watching the revellers go by.  She got an extra ride on the carousel!

Halloween!!

Halloween was a big success!  Chippy happily chatted away to the neighbours while collecting his haul. Chippette was happy to follow along and hold out her bag! 

Interesting fact - not a smarties or coffee crisp between them!
