Teacher Diane is involved with Wellesley Players asked all the kids to come out and see the show. Afterwards, the kids got to go up on stage and meet the characters!

Pinewood Derby
Chippy is fiercely working on his first ever Pinewood Derby car entry! These shots are from a clinic that took place for the group - where he was able to cut the wood into the shape he wanted. He cut and sawed and sanded his way to a very good looking car! Car is currently in the paint shop!
Dr Appointments
We went a few months without any Dr appointments - but we were back at it recently. First, Wee M had a nasty finger infection, then they both had their birthday dr visits. Both are healthy and growing! Wee M had to get a shot -- she screamed as LOUD as she could -- but it really wasn't that bad! She is 90th percentile for height which isn't really that much of a surprise given she's about the tallest kid at daycare! Finally, Chippy's face puffed up and he had the strep virus ... Crossing our fingers that we're all healthy for the rest of the winter!!
Tea Party, anyone?
Wee M put on this incredible tea party - all by herself!! She made the cookies the day before, she set the table, she (had help) making tea, she washed the blueberries, provided mints and set up the table and chairs ... all her idea! She LOVES a good tea party!
Christmas presents
Luckily the kids has 1 1/2 weeks off school to enjoy their Christmas presents! Probably the first Lego set that Chippy was a bit scared to start ... all that Lego... 😂😂
Christmas Eve
Pictures to come...
Santa once again came to our house for Christmas Eve. I don't know how he finds the time to do it each year! Incredibly, he brought the one thing Wee M wanted for Christmas (besides 'a barbie that does everything') .. a princess snowglobe that plays music!!

Nutcracker
We now have an annual tradition of taking the kids (and Grammy!) to see the Nutcracker and getting a new ornament for the tree. Chippy chose a little nutcracker and Wee M picked the Snow Queen. (Mom picked the fuzzy bear!) Chippy couldn't quite make it to the end - falling asleep in the last 5 minutes. A fun evening!
Bruins
Chippy opted not to have a birthday party this year - but to take 2 friends to a Bruins game. Pa was supposed to come, but was snowed in at the Detroit airport. Dad and a colleague took the kids down to the game. Mum was very happy to have missed the experience as, when driving away, Chippy rolled down the window and chanted 'FART, FART, FART!'. From the sounds of it, the rest of the afternoon was pretty similar. Highlight was three excited kiddo's getting on the big screen within 5 minutes of getting to TD Garden!
Christmas #2
Bubba/Gampy Christmas took place about a week before Christmas. This is when the kids opened their birthday/christmas gifts. While there are normally 2-3 old trolls that grace our Christmas each year - there were many more Trolls this year with the new movie just being out!
Happy Birthday, Birthday Girl!
Wee M's 5th birthday was on a school day - but she was picked up early and her friend Cora came over to play and for dinner! She is a very enthusiastic 5 year old! (Although, to me she seems much older!)
Run Forrest, Run!
Chippy joined the local track team ... I think running laps at the local College is making him realize that long distance running is harder than it sounds!! That said, this past weekend the session was held at at a middle school where the kids could try out all the jumping track events and shot put. Chippy opted to run laps!!
The Most Princess-y of all Princess Parties!
Birthday girl had her birthday party a couple days before her actual birthday. And what a party it was!! Birthday girl and 4 of her closest friends were beautified and dressed up as princesses and given the royal treatment including tea party!
Happy Birthday, Birthday Boy!
Day started very early with a drive to Revere for an Ugly Sweater 5k Run! The boy was a little hesitant about the whole event - but we made it through! Run took place on an old horse track - pretending we were galloping horses helped to move us along when we were losing steam! Next up was brunch out with Grammy and family. Even saw some other 5k runners there! Eoin came over to play and dinner. A great day to bring in the 7s!
