'The Cape'

What a day for Chippy ... he lost his 6th tooth last night before bed (top left), had jump up day at school where he found out who his grade 1 teacher was going to be, went into a track meet tonight and won the 100m, 200m, 2nd in long jump and 3rd in softball toss.  Fell asleep in his closet!

American Symbols

Chippy's year end concert with all 84 Kindergartner's was built on the theme 'American Symbols'.  The song he's been singing for the past month is this 'It's a grand old flag...' song! 

Parties and Parks

Chipette had two neat birthday parties recently -- one at at Bouncy Castle location and another at a local swimming pool!  We also met up with K, W, & E for fun at a park!

Backyard Waterslide

Two weekends ago we had a really hot day.  Everyone had an idea that led to the creation of our own backyard water slide.  The kids had SOOOO much fun!!

Bye, Bye Will N!

Chipette's boyfriend Will N. left the daycare last week.  A sad day -- Chipette made a drawing and necklace for him as a parting gift!

EarthFest

Mum, Chippy and Chippette had a fun day a few weeks ago.  We headed to Cambridge to pick up some bacon covered doughnuts (yuck), and walked right past a burning building without knowing!  Two seconds later four fire engines roar up and put out a fire on the 3rd floor of a building.  Then off to Earth Fest in Boston where we scored many freebie snacks and giveaways.  Spent a short time at the duck pond before heading home.  Mum and Chippette had a date at Swan Lake!
