Town Fair

After soccer and swim this morning we stumbled upon the town fair in the common! We sat in a whole range of trucks, checked out the local vendors and then got our faces painted and had our caricatures done! Recognize these creatures?

At the Children's Museum

The kids played hookey from school and went to the museum with Grammy and Pa on Tuesday!

The Boys First Fenway Game!

On the night that Jeter was having his last game at Yankee Stadium, the boy got to experience his first game at Fenway! We saw a band playing Sweet Caroline, a balloon man gave us two balloon creations, we had pizza and ice cream, and the Sox were up 7-1 when we left! The train ride in was just as fun as the game! What an exciting night to remember!

Preschool Visit

We got to visit Wee M and Chippy's preschool the other day. They showed us around their classroom and practiced some of their activities!

The Swimming M

Wee M loved the water again this week! I think her favourite part was jumping into the water. She asked to go under 5 or 6 times! She is a complete natural!

Soccer

Last Saturday was Chippy's first soccer practice and Wee Ms first swimming lesson! Chippy had a good time at soccer ... Did great at the drills! Wee M was a complete natural in the water! She was so excited to be in the water and even had a big jump in from the side! Maybe we will get some swimming pictures this week.

Train Time

Goodbye Thomas trains ... hello remote controlled trains! Chippy improved the set with Thomas trees and Lego people. Then, in the last picture, Chippy got a bit too close and the train schmucked his face!

Goodbye Outings with Karl & Walter& Evelyn

Our end of summer, pre going to school activities with K, W, and E were taking the green line into Boston for the day, spending a day at the beach and a day at the park!

First Day of Preschool

Wee M had her first day of preschool yesterday and, boy, was she excited. And, again she was upset when she couldn't eat her lunch there as soon as we arrived! She was a little upset when I left, but her teacher phoned to say she had had a great day minus the first half hour or so. Chippy started his first full day and didn't miss a beat! No sign of Joe, Bella, or Charles yet, but hopefully they will show up today!
At dinner last night, Wee M decided upon all the Christmas gifts she was going to buy everyone:
A pink house for Pa and Uncle Buck
Sprinkly hair for Gram, Bubba and Aunty Lorri
A bone for Dunners
A wall picture for Dad and Gampy

Messes!

The kids have been making their fair share of messes recently! From 'swimming' in packing peanuts to two consecutive days of raiding the bandaid cupboard, they were certainly testing our patience!
