Uncle Buck's Boat

Yesterday we got a special ride in Uncle Buck's boat ... And there were two captains ... Buck and Chippy!

Chippy ran the minnow run in record speed, ending up second for his age! Just call him The Flash ... With very fast shoes!

Our first outing without a diaper ... And she has been almost perfect ever since - even at night! Overnight Wee M became pretty much fully potty trained! She is a big girl now!!

We packed up the kids and headed for the land of witches yesterday. They had a nice little festival with good food! Chippy ate 3/4 of dad's lobster roll while mom and Chippette snacked on a burger and fries. Chippette enjoyed getting her face painted!

Letterboxing

I had never heard of this before; however, last week we went letterboxing with our friends Karl and Walter! Turns out the person who placed the letterboxes at the farm we went to overheard what we were doing and gave us the royal treatment! She even brought out some baby turkeys for us to hold!

First T Ride

Our First 4th!

Wow, what a weekend filled with God Bless America! Started out with dinner, face painting and music, then Chippy and I returned for fireworks in the evening (3rd). Very impressed when a group of high school girls gave Chippy a handful of their glow bracelets!

On the 4th, there was a parade featuring every fire truck, army vehicle, police car and politician for miles around. The fire trucks were full siren and lights. There were three sets of guys dressed up in old military garb shooting blanks every block or so. That was a bit scary and loud, so by then both kids were crying and ready to go home!!
